The World Muscle Society annual international Congress is the foremost event in the field of neuromuscular disorders.
Over successive years we have grown the Congress and created more opportunities for our delegates to come together to share the latest science in the field, network, share ideas and enhance the global knowledge of many of these life-limiting diseases. At WMS 2024 in Prague, we welcomed almost 1,400 delegates from around the world.

Our 2025 Congress will take place in Vienna, Austria from 7th-11th October, with the Pre-Congress Teaching Course running through 6th and 7th October. It will be our 30th annual international Congress and promises to be a huge celebration of the progress we have made over the last three decades. For the second consecutive year, we are returning to central Europe and are looking forward to welcoming a global audience to the Austria Center.
The 30th Annual Congress of the World Muscle Society offers a valuable opportunity for organisations looking to engage with new partners and present scientific and educational content. Any sponsor showcasing pharmaceutical (or pharma-dependent) products is advised to consult the IPCAA (International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association), EFPIA Code of Practice (European Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industries & Associations), IFPMA (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations), and the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice before applying.
For sponsors located in the USA or Canada, the sponsor must comply for the avoidance of doubt with such applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice, including, without limitation, those promulgated by the FDA (U.S. Food & Drugs Administration), and Advamed, to the extent applicable.
