It is essential that you use our standard format for saving your slide presentation. The WMS Congress format is:

In the weeks leading up to the Congress, we receive more than 100 slide presentations. Using the standard format helps us make sure your slides are correctly assigned to your session.

Presentation content guidelines

To ensure high-quality, compliant, unbiased, and evidence-based presentations, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Balanced view of therapeutic options. Cover a range of pharmacological, surgical, and non-pharmacological approaches.
  2. Evidence-based recommendations. Base all clinical recommendations on scientific evidence and clinical reasoning and provide a fair and balanced view of diagnostic and therapeutic options.
  3. Disclosure of sources. Clearly cite sources (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles) within the relevant slide and mention limitations of the data and off-label use where applicable.
  4. Avoid commercial bias. Your content must be free from promotional messaging and commercial bias and must not promote products for professional or financial gain.
  5. No private industry logos. Do not include logos from companies working in the pharmaceutical and related industries. If you're acknowledging funding from the pharmaceutical or related industries, use text only, not logos.
  6. Permitted logos. Hospital, NHS, or university logos are allowed on slides and posters.

By following these guidelines, you help ensure a scientific, fair, compliant and objective Congress experience.
