The WMS annual Congress is the foremost scientific congress in the field of neuromuscular disorders. WMS 2025 is our 30th anniversary Congress. WMS 2024 in Prague, our delegates presented more than 700 posters, sharing the latest, breaking science in the field.

We will cover each topic in the plenary sessions and are inviting abstract submissions for delegates to share their work.

We invite media with an interest in the field of neuromuscular disorders to attend WMS 2025 virtually or in person. We will have a media office on-site to support journalists, photographers and media representatives who wish to cover abstracts, presentations and events during the Congress.
Media representatives will be expected to follow the Congress Code of Conduct and respect embargoes set by the WMS, presenters and our industry partners. We request that media representatives share links to their outputs as they are published/ broadcast with the communications lead for promotion on WMS social media channels.

WMS Congress Ltd reserves all rights to take action to prevent or report violations of the Code of Conduct, including blocking access to the WMS 2025 Congress and future Congresses.
Embargoes for most presented work stand until 00:01 Central European Standard Time (CEST) (GMT +1) on the 7th October 2025. The embargo for late breaking abstracts is 00:01 on Saturday 11th October.
NMD Journal, as the partner journal of the WMS and the WMS Congress has exclusive rights to publish the presentations in advance of the embargo. The Congress edition of the NMD Journal is due to be available to Congress delegates and journal subscribers from 30th September, 2025.

Because this is a hybrid meeting, the content may be available prior to the session being broadcast at the scheduled time in the programme. In this instance, the media embargo remains as stated above.
